Shankar - 6 Cotton
India has advantage of growing all species of cotton i.e from short staple (20.5 to 24.5m),medium long (25.0 to 27.0mm),long (27.5 to 32.0 mm) and extra long staple cottons (32.5mm to above). In India the states of Gujarat, Maharastra, Andhra Pradesh and also Madhya Pradesh are the leading cotton producing states. Shankar- 6 have 27.5mm to 29mm length use in spinning of 30s-40s count.
Cotton waste - comber noil
Cotton Waste is the by product of the ring spun yarn spinning process, produce when cotton is combed in comber machine. Comber noil is used for number of purpose like manufacturing of Currency paper, Packaging, Cotton Pads, Cotton buds, Cotton Balls and also for blending purpose in open end spinning yarn mills. We offer products with quality, purity and longevity as well as recyclable nature.
COTTON WASTE - flat strips
Cotton flat is a by-product of the yarn spinning industry produced in the first carding machine. The fiber has higher trash compared to comber Noil. It is mostly used in OE spinning for blending with good quality cotton.
Used in 10’s to 20’s counts in O.E .

Lickerin is also a by-product obtained during yarn manufacturing. Being a carding waste product, it is low in cost and fiber rich. It is a valuable source for OE spinning of low count yarns.
